for once, i decided to not grind endlessly and just go win.
human warrior, 6 points STR, 6 DEX, 8 CON. selling enabled, randarts.
i did DL1 twice, then went down to DL6 (i was shooting for DL10, but ran into a bunch of OOD ogres, level feeling 9- ). when i recalled back, i found a ideal room with some blue worm mass, and grinded to CL13.
then i again recalled and on DL10 i found a red worm mass, and grinded to CL21, easy enough with a human warrior. must have taken me .. maybe 10 minutes. i was listening to a youtube video about bronze age cultures while doing this.
then i started going down, pretty uneventful, although i found two -9 levels, one with boots of speed +5, one with a weapon of gondolin which did less damage than a basic dagger. i did most of my low levels with a dagger of fire bought from the store. my first artifact was a pendant that gave me pConf pFear at CL23.
then at DL34 i killed Azog who dropped my first endgame weapon: a 4x +14 crossbow with *Fire, and 3 useful resists.
this gave me 52 damage with basic bolts, and i managed to waltz through most of the game with it.
i converted almost all my money into stat potions (resting at DL1) and always carried 15 Phase, 30+ CCW, and 40+ bolts. I then bought a ring of speed +6 from the BM and went for the lower levels.
once i got down to native stat levels, i went rather rapidly down to DL70, and from there the artifacts came pouring in. my last weapon (without slay evil) did 600 vs morgoth, also thanks to a ring of damage +12 and artifact gauntlets (+10,+15). I got lucky with the spread of resistances and had everything covered except chaos (which would have cost me HLife and a whole lot of damage to have).
i took on Morgoth with 3 Heal, 14 *Heal, 7 Life, a stack of 30 TS, 1 rune, 3 MBan (of which i used 1), and 10 Banish (of which i used 1).

but then, i didn't really try.
i really missed the susCON that Dunedain have, as morgoth was constantly reducing my CON from 18/190 to *not 190* and i had to resort to !Life a couple times to restore it, not having saved any mushrooms of Vigour. I also had only 1 rod of restoration (found on DL100 just seconds before the fight, and zapped to test it, i thought it was gonna be !Speed), and i could not find a shield of Preservation that i could slot in my gear ..
buying potions of Speed religiously from the BM really did give me an advantage in just about every major fight. i left all the uniques until later when they were easy, i only once took on two ringwraiths together because i had a huge stack of bolts and it was an ideal situation.
