    Mid-Adventure Report

    Back at it again... With 4.1.0, going with my favorite (ok, yeah... probably easiest) race/class, high-elf ranger, with randarts.

    I don't think that I have ever seen so many damn amulets, pendants, and elfstones in my life... Still going quite well at any rate. Get back to diving more once I get enough !CON's.

    #2
    No longbow at all? A high level ranger should be doing ~1000 damage per turn with elemental ammo. Even a longbow of might would be better than 1 shot per turn with a sling. (rDark is not worth the cost in damage.)

      So... Thought that immunity to Lightning and Immunity to Fire together negated plasma.

      ...I thought wrong.

        Yeah... I hadn't found any really good longbows at all. The best I had found was just a longbow of power +10/+17, and I was very tempted to use it... But stuck with the sling.

          Plasma breath is limited to something like 150 max damage, so it shouldn't really be a big problem. I'm a little surprised that you didn't get a low HP warning in the previous attack.
          Also, I disagree about ranger being the easiest class. Sure, and endgame ranger is ridiculously overpowered. But 404 HP just doesn't cut it compared to a warrior or rogue.
