Several more deaths (my fav was reading a wor instead of pd - oops!). Now I have XorzacII who has no upstairs created when he goes down a level.

He found orfax on dlv 6 and managed to kill him (at plv 4!!). Nearly 1600 score. Unfortunately mughash, wormtongue, and bullroarer gave nothing! Char dump posted. He is not quite as good as the original xorzac though, except much much better score.

Score is NOT calculated the way the help says - for sure. I have killed every unique down to dlv13 and my score has not moved. My plv is below dlv and I have minimal skills. See above as my score was mega inflated due to orfax ood.

Getting frustrated. Score still will not move. About to hit dlv 16.

5718 xp actually lol. Sw 50 dod 45 sr 45 dis 20. The dis I want to make things a little easier. It wont go higher. Dodge will stop at about 50 - it should easily make up the lack of shield once I find a suitable weapon.

Okay here we go. Lots of progress. Found 2 vaults - dlv 26 and dlv29. The mummy ghost gave me a large chest, which yielded him Sting. Nice! The vaults surprisingly didnt have much. Mhdsm was best item (oh does he need that).

Sold a katana of venom he got from acq scroll, the short sword of flame yielded an extra blow which I couldnt give up. Looking like a bad idea with scumming for stat potions!

Neat little trick - tele scrolls and obj det scrolls. Only go to ! , and anything in the path. Saves lots of time.

Had bought an orcish pick of digging but dropped it by accident and had to tele before I noticed it. 32k down the drain.

Going for 75 sw 50 sr 50 dod 20 dis for now - goal is to keep total base skill about 2k or less for sauron. Im just not sure what to boost higher yet. He has all but the sw now.

Saving best for last - boots of speed as a quest item!!!!!!!!! After getting stat potions and that helm of beauty, finally something good. I got all but chr from quests (1 each).

So XorzacII is finishing his stat potions - keep finding con! Its maxxed lol. I'd prefer str or dex but hey at least its not chr! Int not much help either (seems to have NO effect on md - he's still very bad?)

Also a lantern of brightness from other acq scroll. Not bad.

Will try to update more often - getting addicted to the guy.

Hes had a few very close calls too - I HATE MAGES AND DRUIDS. Oh and ______ vortex. Incidentally, his next quest is 10 mages - suck. They were bad enough on dlv26 (only had 1 to deal with - course I didnt have the mhdsm yet).

Update: amgamaite (however its spelled) gave me caspanion!!

But I lose cold/elec resist --- but I cant pass up conf res and the +3 con/wis/int.

Note to self: dont EVER use a potion of skill unless you want ALL skills with points to go up a bunch. Stupid scr of acq.

Most people very lucky to get 1 source of speed by dlv 30
I found *another* boots of speed! Only +7 my quest pair is +10. I dont know if it was on floor or a drop.

Alchemist had potions of str - had enough for the 1 I needed to max it. Now just need to get dex there.

Fun moment which keeps this interesting.

I take 1 step into a large room. I see about 20+ monsters, all different letters/colors. I back up a space lol.

Xor is one rounding pretty much everything now, which is nice (dlv 35). His melee is legendary with +3 dex ring and +13 skill ring.

Speed is my new best friend. Dlv35 quest reward = ring of speed +8!

Xor will be straight sick now lol.

And now he is slowly diving, though dex isnt max yet.

Investing in stores is paying off. Alchemist had 15! Scrolls of acq! I didnt realize these babies were a good source of artifacts? I got 3 more - though none particularly useful. Taratol the best of them.

Edit: Earth elem (dlv42 quest) nearly immune to my swords. Taratol, which misses a ton, still MUCH better against them. Will keep it around after all.

I redid my equip based on my new loot and I forgot to check my basic resists. So I stumble upon a giant lair of mature red dragons!! I got down to 7 hp at one point! He has 616. Soooooooo close to dying. But he made it. God bless +18 speed. And a superb sv (70 skill). And considering those idiots burned who knows how much ... Xor has a lot of sifting to do! And now of course!! he finds his first blanket.

I sold all my resist gear thinking they were covered. Nope. A defender sword, the mhdsn, armor of elvenkind etc. Oops.

Total haul: 2 artifacts (a helm and armor), 3 MA potions, 1 admant, a lot of rods, 2 chr pots, several egos, a ton of wands, and the blanket. I dont know what was on ground and what that hoard dropped. Im hoping that was the red feeling of the level! Dlv42 - I was getting ready to dive to 50 - glad I didnt! I have to fix my equip. I did save the armor art I found earlier, I forget what it has.
