"Hmmm...I wonder what this potion does?"

(Our plucky hero finds himself on DL 13, looking for a stairway leading down. He comes across a potion.)

You have no room for a Pungent Potion.

(He examines the potion, sniffs at it, and decides it doesn't look poisonous. Well, not TOO poisonous. "Only one way to find out," he mutters. GULP.)

    You feel more experienced.
    Welcome to level 18.
    You feel less weak.
    You feel less clumsy.
    Welcome to level 19.

And in last month's competition, !Poison would have been preferable.
“We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see.”

It's all fun and games till you get stat drained and have to reach level 31 to restore your stats...

(Still, infinitely better than quaffing an un-ID'd potion at DL 13 and getting "You see no more potions of Life." Aargh.)
