I thought that too, Thalkettoth is one of the items I tend to store at home even when I don't have immediate use for it. +3 to DEX and speed with rShard in light item that gives good AC is very good.

rShard is one of the most wanted resists late in game (gelugons, balance and law dragons, Huan).

Oh well, I tend to have rshard from a cloak of protection, although strangely haven't yet come across one of these. Elvenkind shield is providing rshard at the moment.
