Strange Isolated Room

I can't say I've ever seen this before.... a very odd shaped room with no doors or hallways to get to it. I tunneled into it and there were some creeping gold coins but that's it. When I activated the Phail it lit up the entire area excluding the right most irregular area.

I've seen destroyed areas with no acces before but I can't say I've seen a "room" like this.

Weird?

They're not really meant to happen, but sometimes they (evidently) do. So jus take it as an oddity -- it happens rarely enough to have no actual gameplay effect.
