    Shooters Galore

Looting in general as well as optimizing the kit for the final fight is a large part of the fun. And for me id'ing a standart is a bit like unwrapping christmas box I already know the contents of. Therefore I tend to play with randarts.

But balance in randarts has been so-so in many versions before, you may recall the outrageous Mattock I posted a while ago with 11d8 (+25,+40) 3x *Slays*, 3x Slays , 2x Immunities, Loads of resists, Activation for Telepathy plus the outrageous +4 Attack speed.

I'm now playing a Rogue in 3.3 with randarts and really happy with the outcome so far. Most artifacts found have been very similar to standarts in power/usefullness. Only you don't get the same distribution which I find interesting. Once I got no shooters for nearly the whole game and this time it's quite the opposite, in fact all great artifacts I've found this game has been shooters.

Enough talk, thanks guys again for a great new release and getting randarts this good! I really enjoy the game.

Lothlorien isn't artifact, it is ego.

From those you posted only Serindir feels a bit overpowered, Celeb is only about par with Bard for damage, few resist make it a bit more impressive than it, but in standarts there is also Belthronding which is better than that (+22 dam, +1 shots and resist disen).

Quite good set of items. No severe overkills, or really really bad ones.
