Game was very enjoyable. Tedium if any was cl40>, dl 40K> until end game.
Sauron was a pain in the ass (tele-away). M was easier in some ways.
Observations:
newfound vitality is still to high IMHO: (HP: 1607 for last 15% of game)
no failed quests: mid game quests are underpowered (orges, trolls, lesser CD's are all quick&dirty arrow-press-repeat)
4GI hounds are still better than V, but ASC's can still make them easy.
Deeper than 5000 levs are avaiable after Sauron (but before M) for questing. This is easier for those who have create_stair spell.
