Warriors seem like the easiest class...

So I've been making really good progress with my new warrior. Although I had a close call with a summoning rune I haven't been in any real danger of dying yet. Even without spells I seem to be doing okay. I feel like I'm finding just enough gear to hang as I go down. And I'm going down fast, I'm looking for stairs if I don't get a superb level feeling or don't detect anything interesting. Maybe I'm just getting lucky here?I should note I that used *destruct* to raid vaults full of OoD monsters, although you end up missing a lot of goodies ...you live and get artifacts: ) I'm also a big believer in Teleporting stuff out of my way if I can't kill it or it drains exp or stats. Playing a warrior seems really basic, not too much to worry about IF you know what to keep and what to dump, you tend to run out of space really quickly. Well here is my character:

Warriors are trivial until you run into high summoners (U's, L's, pink p's) and charge drainers. Until then, if you have the required resist and a decent melee weapon you can power through most things without thinking, just making sure to heal if you get too low. Great ability with ranged weapons doesn't hurt either.

Dependence on consumables kinda sucks in the late game

Considering how deep you are with that low HP you need to avoid many fights. You might want to use biggest RoCON you can find in place of that +3 RoS. +4 CON would help a lot.

Of course your internal CON is still pretty low so it wont take very long before you can again use something else.

(BTW. my clvl 50 dwarf priest has over 1000 HP. Rare case, but this is the guy with two WoG before any other dungeon book and AMHD at 1650', so it is pretty weird game overall. RNG has apparently chosen to put all oddities in same game)

This character got a PB7 from an acquirement scroll and the next book she saw was pb9 at 5400'

Not as odd as your finds, but your comment made me remember.
