    Haha, chest in a chest

    I opened a chest, and got a chest out of it! What's funnier, the first chest was a small wooden chest, and the second that came out of it was a large wooden chest! I don't even want to try and wrap my head around that.

    The second chest yielded a flask of oil (not bad, at 250'), and a short sword of morgul (-5, -10). Really tired of getting heavily cursed weapons and armours in the first 10 minutes of a game.

      I found a large steel chest in a small wooden chest once also. I'd consider this to be a bug.

          I know for a fact that there was code to prevent this occurring in Angband. I suspect that that code has been removed...

              Now that I think about it, it was probably a Large iron chest in a small steel one. But still, yes, I think it might have gotten overlooked when the item generation code was changed. I may poke around the code tomorrow and see if I can find the problem (though I imagine it'll be found by then).

                  If it's any help, it was a global variable. My favourite kind. I love side effects...
