down at 550' I run into Mughash and his band, a soldier, a stonefoot warrior and a worm. I am a Blackguard with a good katana and a sling/pebble combo that can do 50 a turn so I make mincemeat of the horde and survey my loot - no improvement to weapon/armor but some unid'd potions/scrolls. Detect Treasure / Poison / Slowness and wait, what's this?

Deadly Powers is the best book in the game - for an appropriately leveled Nec

For you it's just 3 pounds and an inventory slot that won't be used for a long time (if at all)
