I'd picked up the same character on and off for a very long time. So long I'd forgotten how deadly an OoD aether hound can be, and lost my first attempt. (It breathed inertia and got me 6 at moves to 1. A 'D' helped out.)

But this time I was victorious, though it took forever to level up CON, with far more !Aug than !CON.

Did you single combat him ?

No way, not against M. I needed occasional breaks for ,vigor and !Mana. And when I tried it vs Ossë, he just spammed spells--I still don't have lore about his attacks. That made me paranoid about using single combat vs big spellcasters.
