    Items on early x-8 level

x-9 is unlimited but you don't see that many x-8

At 150' my HE Blackguard found a soft leather armor of RF [8,+6] AND a potion of Wisdom

Amusingly almost immediately after reaching 200', they found a Main Gauche of Lightning (+5,+5)

            Was a 3-7 level at 300' (having skipped 100-250 - eek!)
My fresh young hobbit nec found this:

            g) the Studded Leather Armour of Elemnach (-1) [12,+7] <+2, +4>
Found lying on the floor at 300 feet (level 6)

            +2 strength.
            +4 constitution.
            Provides resistance to Chaos.
            Provides protection from blindness, confusion.
Cannot be harmed by Acid, Fire.
            Sustains wisdom.
            Speeds regeneration.

That is endgame armor for a hobbit nec +4 con and rBlind + rConfusion
The +2 strength means I can wear it now with no penalties

Only 3-6 level but not complaining!

Level 14 gnome mage found this after defeating a hord of Orcs in a labyrinth.

                e) the Necklace 'Baldornie' <+5>
Found lying on the floor of a labyrinth at 650 feet (level 13)

                +5 intelligence.
                Provides immunity to Fire.
                Provides protection from confusion.

When activated, it casts a bolt or beam of cold dealing 6d8
damage, which your device skill increases by 31% for an average of
                35.3 damage.
Takes 26 to 28 turns to recharge at your current speed.
Your chance of success is 96.2%

[EDIT] On the same level, also floor item -- Blue DSM

Thats a sweety for a mage. Three properties, and each one hits the spot.

                        4-8 on lvl13: [58 +4] armor. Playing mage so... :/
Much less useful than wand of drain life I picked up on lvl 9, x-5 feeling, or bow of Lothlorien with stun resistance, free action and +5 dex that was on lvl 17, x-6 feeling.
