Level 28 HT paladin was doing just fine, already found several artifacts, dungeon book etc... Then, 9-4 feeling on DL28.
Cautiously exploring, trying to remember to cast detect evil often enough... suddenly:

Something mumbles loudly.

You die.

Wow that's unlucky! I've seem big fat wyrms that early but never anything as dangerous as that.

I'd definitely get the heck out of there if I knew it was him. But 9 feeling is often just another bug hunt so I'd probably have a decent chance at get swatted as well.
