    Looking for gear suggestions

    Hello, currently i am trying to get to level 45 before tackling Sauron/Morgoth.

    Looking for recommendations on my gear. Is that Sling of Buckland that I have any good? Also i really need to dump some randarts...

    you do not need the elven chain at all, you can just drop it.

    Honestly i, for being a slow (and somewhat obsessive) player, would wait until you have at least one artifact armor and cloak, and surely you should be able to pick up some boots of elvenkind soon.

      The sling is not that good--+0.7 shots is no better than a heav6 xbow +shots, and the damage bonus is very low. Slings of Buckland got a massive nerf some time back, and are rarely good enough to keep anymore. What you need is way more healing and a few !Speed and !restore mana. INT 18/220 and CL 50 make a big difference for mass banishment and Mana Storm failure rate, too.
