Thanks for the feedback, I cannot claim much personal credit for introducing the Kangband material though. Gwarl, the developer of Composband, is a big fan of your variant and drew a lot of inspiration from it And the thieves quest is an oldie-but-goodie that's been included in FrogComposband's ancestors for probably decades in some form or another.

I did play and like Kangband too, though; and know your variant introduced a lot of interesting ideas taken up by others since.
