Sealcoating is a way of protecting your asphalt or concrete surface from the elements that can cause it to deteriorate. The sealant coats the surface, filling in cracks and fissures, which helps keep water out and prevents dust from collecting on top of it. This process also helps prevent problems with deicing salts damaging the pavement. Sealcoating does not require any major construction work like a resurfacing project would; all you have to do is add a little bit of extra protection.
