Foxtrot is light and lively. It is an upbeat move you do when you are basically cheerful to be alive.

    QUICKSTEP

Quickstep left the Foxtrot in the 1920s. It is portrayed by bounces, skips, syncopations, turns and snappy fun loving activity. It is firmly identified with the Foxtrot in music and feeling, yet uses generally Waltz designs.

Quickstep is brisk, (duh!) brimming with life and vitality. In spite of the fact that it is a Ballroom move, Quickstep make no case to effortlessness or tastefulness. It is about velocity and having a decent time!
