In case it helps heres a screenshot of my light issue. I spawned 1N, 6E. you can see west of me floor tiles which will light and east the darkness which won't light. Once I walk on the tile or bump into a wall it displays and acts properly. As I said though I can just save in quit from town and its not an issue.
