I am a student pursuing my higher studies and I am highly interested in arts, especially basket weaving. I am highly intrigued by the techniques used to weave wicker basket. Wicker Baskets are made from cane, reed or willow and are made by enmeshing these fibers together to form a strong, rigid structure, woven together forming a beautiful wicker basket. The technique is interesting and often requires crafty skills. Natural wicker storage cabinets and ooutdoor wicker furniture is highly complex to make and require a great deal of skill. I would like to pursue wicker basket making as a hobby and would like to advertise myself as a learner and a novice in this wonderful field.
