I actually was planning on adding a black knight class which uses the necromancy spell realm, but I'm also thinking about cancelling my plans for adding some of the classes I was going to add. The black knight class would be pretty similar to the assassin class which is already in DaJAngband except more melee focussed. Have you tried the assassin class?

Wow, this is the first time I've gotten a feature request for DaJAngband. For the next version 1.0.97, I've gotten rid of infravision and replaced it with monster stealth and an alertness skill.
