I thought I'd try an illogical class like a dwarf ranger.
Anybody else have experience with this?
I've been unbelievably lucky so far with sandals of speed +10 before clvl 10 and a randart whip that's dealing around 300 damage at clvl 28.
However, I'm not using archery at all. My crossbow of accuracy only gives me ONE shot a round and my short bow of power is only giving 1.6 shots per round... Miles behind my whip's damage output.
I might actually win the game, but playing as a weak warrior with a few useful utility spells. I've only got the town spellbook so far, maybe there's something to look forward to in the dungeon books.
