I was surprised to find in the code that paralysis does not stack. This is at odds with in game where you do get chained, you see the message multiple times. I believe I know why. Paralysis tends to end with you not having turn energy to move. In this window you are near guaranteed to be paralysed again. The actual number of turns is survivable on a buff enough warrior you can see this in O where serpent of the brownlands can run out of mana.
