Hi everyone,
My ranger, linked below, is the highest level character I've ever achieved. It's pretty exciting, but also worrisome. I don't really know what to expect from here, and death at this point would really suck. I'm overwhelmed with all of the equipment options and would appreciate any advice on how to equip myself for handling uniques going forward. I've been wielding the Trident of Wrath for a while because it deals the most melee damage per round, but I'm wondering if I should switch to the Long Sword 'Anguirel' to get more speed, or maybe even the Quarterstaff 'Eriril' in an effort to max out all of my stats (including wisdom). What do you think? Similarly, I could wield the Leather Scale Mail 'Thalkettoth' for the speed and not have my mana punished with the cumbersome PDSM, but this PDSM is just so awesome!
I guess I'm wondering generally whether I should focus on being as fast as possible, maxing out my stats, doing the most damage per round, getting as many resists as possible, or some mixture thereof?
Finally, anything I'm missing in my stats or inventory that I'll need as I dive deeper than the 3100' I've gone so far?
