I have a randart spear that activates for illumination, however everytime I activate it, it says 'Your spear is covered in frost ...' Next line 'You are surrounded by a white light.' The spear is weakly branded with frost, but this is irrelevant to the activation, so it seems it checks for the wrong attribute upon activation.
Totally unrelated, I thought every dungeon floor has exactly 3 upstairs and 3 down stairs (unless it is a mini mace, in which case it only has one each) but I just run into a level with 4 down stairs and 2 upstairs? No vaults or any other special features after quaffing an enlightenment.
