Hi all,
Wel I finally managed to compile the source but I never got vanilla angband
to compile so instead I had a go at sangband src.
For prosperity this is what I did to get it to compile on xp using dev-cpp
(mingw compiler).
1)follow all the instructions found on this site.
2)change the angband.rc file to read..
"c:\\sang100src\\sand100src\\src\\win\\Angband .rc"
(which is the directory of the resource file)
3)undefine STRICT if the compiler throws a redefinition error.
4)compile run
To the current maintainer of sangband,
great game.
