I've been having a few of those recently - but a vanilla Blade of Chaos at *DLVL 7*, dropped by a goddamn *SCOUT* kinda tips the scale.

Honorable mention: Wrath of God lying on the ground between 10 and 20.

Love it when that happens, but more often than not deep weapons arent useful for early characters. Unless you a) are strong enough to wield them, b) dont get many attacks with a dagger and c) dont have a good ego like westernesse, you can probably dump that sword. At dlvl 7 you probably dont have c) yet.

I had a very similar experience this morning I found this after reading an unidentified scroll of deep decent on a dlvl 3 with a Superb feeling. I was pissed until I landed on 8 with an Excellent feeling!

a) a Blade of Chaos (6d5) (+1,+2)
Found lying on the floor at 400 feet (level 8).

Provides resistance to chaos.
Can be destroyed by acid.

Combat info:
1.3 blows/round.
With +7 STR and +0 DEX you would get 1.6 blows
With +0 STR and +2 DEX you would get 1.6 blows
Average damage/round: 28.3.
