I am playing a warrior character with randarts and the first artifact I find is:
the Hard Leather Armour of Barna (-1) [16,+15] <+9>
Dropped by Wormtongue, Agent of Saruman at 600 feet (level 12).
+9 speed.
Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.
Sustains constitution.
Which is now making deciding on when to replace it very difficult..
With various random artifacts and 2xRoS I now have +24 without the Armor. Is the +9 still very important? I just found:
the Hard Leather Armour 'Niele' (-1) [16,+9] <+4>
Conjured forth by magic at 3750 feet (level 75).
+4 intelligence, dexterity, constitution.
Provides immunity to acid.
Provides resistance to nether, chaos.
Provides protection from blindness.
Cannot be harmed by acid, electricity, fire, cold.
makes me immune to acid and blindness, as well as maxing out my DEX and giving me about 100 HP with +4 CON.. Plus I have a few other artifact armors back at my house. Here is my current dump:
+24 Speed instead of +33? That's almost a whole turn right? Advice very much welcome! (With speed or anything really, still haven't beat this game legitly)
