Thanks to the keymap system in 3.3.1, I was able to come up with a keybinding that works really well on my laptop. It uses:
qwe
asd
zxc
to emulate keypad movement using the left hand, with most of the commands for those letters bound to the capital version, and some other commands I find less useful simply elided. That is, "quaff a potion" is "shift-q" rather than "q".
Since I saw a few request for laptop layouts, I thought I'd share this one.
Quaff: Q (from q)
Equip: W (from w)
Eqiupment list: 3 (from e)
Aim a wand: A (from a)
Activate: X (from A)
Search: S (from s)
Zap: Z (from z)
Close: C (from c)
Character: 1 (from C)
Inventory 2 (This didnt conflict, but 1,2,3 seemed natural for Character, Inventory, Equipment, once I had to rebind the others)
