What if you could regain stat points by using a related skill. Intelligence could be regained by using staffs, wands, rods. Wisdom by having you're saving throw checked when spells are cast on you, or taking damage from spells. Strength by successfully hitting creatures with equipped weapon. Dexterity using bows, xbows, slings. Constitution from taking physical damage. Charisma, not sure maybe buying goods. Wouldn't work in ironman but its useless there anyways. Just an idea, sorry if its been brought up before.
