hi ! finally decided to register on the forum after all this time, ( years and years of visiting this site )
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that has worked on this game in any capacity.
My first experience with this style of game was Moria, long ago on my amiga, took 8 hrs to download the 1.2 meg file thru the local bbs board ( sheeshe)
was the start of a long hobby with fantasy gaming(15+ yrs), and i have pretty much done it all over the years, been there, done that, with pretty much every mainstream online game and whatnot, but quit playing a year orso ago due to it all being the same, no challenge, no spirit, no heart. recently i decided to download Angband to see if i could recapture that sense of adventure I lost......
and got it back
i could ramble on and on, but nah. so..
