    Odd missile messaging

    Code:
    You have 26 Arrows {magical} (p).
The Arrow (1d4) {magical} fails to harm the Kobold archer.
    Your Arrows glows.
    Your Arrow glows.
    The Kobold archer is unharmed.
    Three things here:
    * The redundant "Your foo glows" messages.
    * The redundant "fails to harm/is unharmed" messages.
    * "Your Arrows glows" is ungrammatical.

I'd suggest condensing down to this:
    Code:
    You have 26 Arrows {magical} (p).
    Your Arrows glow.
    The Kobold archer is unharmed.

The grammar point is a good one, as is the duplicate message about the kobold, but the two arrows messages are different: one refers to the arrow you just fired, and the other refers to the rest of the stack. Whoever wrote that did a good job of catching all the necessary ID-by-use.

EDIT: That doesn't mean they can't be condensed, of course - but I suspect it might be more trouble than it was worth. I will have a look at the grammar one.

You could always just destroy the fired (arrow/bolt/shot) item upon ID-by-use. Thus "The arrow" message would be unnecessary, and only a single missile would be lost which may have happened anyhow.
