Mac OSX Sequoia 15.0 and Angband

Updated to the latest and greatest OSX and they've locked down "unauthorized" applications even further. You used to be able control-click the application and select Open (had to do it twice) and it would offer to open it reluctantly. Now that's no longer an option.

There's a workaround in the Mac User Guide under heading "Apple can't check app for malicious software". Go into the System Settings dialog, click Privacy & Security in the sidebar. Scroll down to the Security setting. After trying to launch Angband, it appears here with a button to "Open Anyway". Confirm with password or fingerprint and it launches.

"The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it, just as you can for any authorized app."
