Major props to ranger jeff for the win, PCB 7.0.0-style...which lately has been deemed the hardest version to date because of the out of control summoning!

I won!! I want to say, but gomen_gomen showed me the way, all credit to him. Tough early, but easy late, oddly.

    No. 209 is 7.0.0

Poscheng, specifically, was usually "fastest winner, or highest number of uniques killed if no winner". I don't even remember where the reasoning behind that one came from; I think it might be because poscheng never actually had "game turns" or whatever (just simulated game time), but that doesn't explain why we still used that measure for winners

The html vs txt thing is a problem with the ladder - it was present in the last poschengband competition until Pav fixed it.

If you name your dump .txt at the end, poschengband will know and format the dump appropriately.

Same rules as in all previous competitions - winner in the least number of turns. If no winner, best experience/turn.

    Gwarl,

The HTML character dumps are reporting turn count differently from the txt dumps on the competition 209 web page.

Also, the parameters for determining the winner of this competition are not defined. Winner in least (turns?). Or if or winner, most experience/(turn?)? I'm happy with other parameters, but it would be nice to know and adapt play style accordingly.

Apparently, once I "play" Compo 209, it then replaces the PCB 7.0 savefile right away? Is that right/
yeah the error wasn't intended but doesn't really matter. Trying to play comp 209 loads your savefile into poscheng 7, meaning it is possible to play the competition, which is all I was going for this time round.
