It's PDSM, for goodness sake! Speed dragon armor used to be 1d10 not 1d5. It's already overpowered at +4. Hell, ordinary PDSM is pretty much overpowered.

oh and the PDSM almost didnt make it into the slot; i had a build with a arti +4 CON which covered everything, but i wanted to keep my options open for future upgrades.
and i found two PDSM, not one. second one was "of speed +1". they really need a buff ... speed +1 ?? what's that gonna do at DL90.

eh, i don't feel the need to challenge myself any more than i have to. actually, i play with preserve on because, while you can lose artifacts, i think it's preferrable to know what level has an artifact on, and which one don't.
it might seem stupid when you are DL30, but fundamental when grinding DL60-80 where every level is 7-7.

...not to mention Dwarven PDSM.

Well done. But 1150 damage as a Mage! And 500 against all monsters! This kind of thing is why I mostly play standard artifacts now.

had some close calls, but once i got my speed up, i was pretty much untouchable - strong melee, unlimited TO, unlimited Tself. wound up on speed 55 hasted.

i took it really slowly, avoiding most uniques until late. worst fight was against the Tarrasque, had to quit it twice. Huan .. still roams the lands.

i found half a dozen ridiculous weapons, from a staff with +7 INT, +4 CON, to a dagger with +8SPD (never used it), a broadsword with +9SPD, +4 CON, and a great axe with 11d4 +16, +2 blows, but finally settled on the one you see here.

1150dmg vs pit fiends - oh yeah. i also had a early drop of a cloak with lightning brand, but never really used it because of those rings of escaping.

it took me forever to find Kelek too, but i totally abused MBan when i finally found it, clearing more than a vault without thinking about it twice.

I used a bow with poison brand for most of CL20~40, at one point i had 200 arrows in my quiver ... ranger much?
