Everyone join me in mourning Tomek the Paladin :(
My best @ so far. Level 24, floating around level 20 in order not to get over his head. Apparently I forgot to save this guy's stats upon death, so I can't even post the file.
But a run down of what happened: I go down to level 20. Superb feeling. Awesome. I cast "detect doors" and "detect evil". Right after a door to my left, down a small corridor, is a huge pack of various trolls. I think "Heh, it's a good thing I checked."
I wanted to shoot an orb of draining, but as I approached they stormed me. I start hacking away as usual, but some of the newer trolls I've never seen before get too tough. I use some potions, but I'm still losing HP pretty fast. I finally kill off all the harder trolls and am left with the ones I have killed before. Oh, and I have very little HP. But I figure I can take them. After all, it's a superb level!
Oh, and by the way, I had a few scrolls of phase door and a few scrolls of teleport.
