New features in Angband 3.1.2 ============================= The following is a list of changes that have occurred in Angband since 3.0.9 This is not a complete list by any means. It is also ordered with more recent changes near the top. ===3.1.2+ major changes=== Inventory is now protected somewhat by resistance. Item drop frequency has been reworked. All uniques are colored purple, all purple monsters that have a unique of their type have been changed to different colors. (Example: Balance dragons) A quiver has been added for easier ammo storage. Ammo gets wielded into the quiver. Fail rates printed for wands, staves and wands. ===3.1.1 major changes=== Randart code improved Always get first move on a new level. ===3.1.0 major changes=== Trap detection spells create a green boundary on the map allowing the area of effect to be easily seen. Identify reveals all powers of an object *identify* is removed Pseudo-ID completely reworked, bad weapons are no longer always cursed allowing test-wielding weapons to be reasonable. Auto-scumming is removed. All timed effects are displayed on the status bar. This includes confusion, blindness, and temporary resistances as well as several others Damage shown for weapons and ammo, breakage chance is also shown for ammo. Inspecting items tells you where it came from as well. Item display list added Monster drops completely revamped Healing potions provide proportional healing Lose stat potions changed to gain one/lose one potions Detection spells now have a fixed rectangular area, independent of display size Shopkeeper greed has been removed ===3.0.9 major changes=== Items can be squelched and hidden from view
