A bug, or lack of a feature. Currently you have to *ID* stuff to see obvious properies. The same with your amulet of the Magi.

Hmm. I guess it's meant as a nasty surprise for those that didn't kill Saruman in Isengard. Yeah, it actually makes sense --- when you'll go to Hobbiton, you will not see it in ruins and you'll see grateful citizens, unlike those people that ignored Saruman. I only have to check if I've not broken it in SVN by the fix to dump code; I bet I did...

Morgoth was easy. I used 6 or 7 potions of Mana, lots of Mana Storms, the spell Augmentation (to offset his brutal attack), and lots of Mass Banishment and Banishment to clear out his summons. I think Sauron summoned most of the remaining uniques, though Morgoth didn't summon special monsters, so I guess I'll never know.
